Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your name and email address, so you have an account and we can reach you about it.
• Your password, stored only as a bcrypt hash. We never hold the password itself.
• Your purchase: what you bought, when, and how much. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
• How far through a video you are, so it resumes where you left it.
• Whether you asked for email about new answers and videos.

What the assistant stores

The assistant on this site keeps a transcript of the conversation, because we need to know whether it is answering readers properly.

A transcript holds what was typed and the reply, plus whether the browser was a phone or a desktop. It is not linked to your account, and it does not hold your name, your email or your IP address. The conversation is identified by a random value created in your browser tab, which identifies nobody.

Transcripts are deleted after 90 days. Please do not type anything into the assistant you would not want kept for that long.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your information.
• We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site.
• We do not put your name, email or any health detail into our server logs.
• Videos hosted elsewhere are embedded through privacy-preserving players, so watching one does not set a tracking cookie from that provider.

Cookies

One cookie: the session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is set only when you sign in, it is restricted to this site, and it cannot be read by scripts. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, which is why this site has no cookie banner.

How long we keep things

• Your account, for as long as you have one.
• Purchase records, for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
• Assistant transcripts, for 90 days.
• Sessions and password reset links, until they expire.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it. Write to contact@magicpostop.com and we will act within one month.

Deleting your account removes your name, your email and your progress. Purchase records are kept where the law requires them, with your identifying details removed.
